The Talon HV offers a 10” thick concrete deck while the HVX offers a 12” thick concrete deck. Fairbanks - 2000 Series
Safe, heavy-duty railroad track scales that are built to last. The advanced design of the 2000 Series minimizes the length of scale needed to weigh rail cars. This scale features easy, cost-effective installation, advanced modular construction and hermetically sealed 110K rocker column load cells. Best of all, the 2000 Series is virtually maintenance-free after installation. These track scales meet all requirements of the Association of American Railroads and National Institute of Standards and Technology Handbook 44 and feature Fairbanks’ Intalogix® Technology.
Fairbanks fully-electronic 2000 Series Track Scales use a 100 percent stainless steel rocker column load cell with a 110,000 pound capacity. A true hermetically sealed cable entry eliminates any moisture intrusion that can damage load cells. In fact, the Series 2000 rail scale load cells offer an industry leading IP69K enclosure rating. Fairbanks load cells include Armour Guard stainless cable jacketing as a standard feature to prevent any damage to the conductors.
